Alumnae Board Meetings
The Alumnae Board meets on Tuesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. in the Alumnae Room. The October meeting is an Open Board meeting where all Alumna are welcome. This year’s dates are October 21, January 27, March 17 and Wednesday, May 6.
Freshman Parent Cooking Class SOLD OUT
Dennis Littley, renowned Mount Chef, will conduct our first ever cooking class for parents sponsored by the Alumnae/Parents Association Special Events Committee. Dennis will guide you through preparations for a delicious four-course Italian feast. Your dinner will also include wine and after dinner liqueur. Date – Thursday, November 6, 2008 at 6:30 p.m. Cost is $25 per person. To make your reservation, contact Colleen Lerro at 215-741-0295. Seating is very limited and will be reserved on a first-come first-served basis.
Lunch with Santa
This annual Alumnae Association event will be held this year on Saturday, December 6 at 11:30 a.m. Bring your children, nieces, nephews and grandchildren for a fun-filled event. College Age Social
Calling all members of the classes of 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008!! Come visit with your former teachers and fellow Mounties and let us know how college life is going. Refreshments will be served in Fontbonne Lounge from 2:30 – 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 6th. RSVP to msjaalum@msjacad.org.
Alumnae Day/150th Anniversary Gala
This year’s Alumnae Day will be truly special as it will be celebrated as part of the Mount’s 150th Anniversary Gala celebration. Gather your classmates and join us at our Pre-Gala Celebration, featuring a silent auction, on Friday, March 6th at the Mount or at our Gala celebration on Saturday, March 7th at the Crystal Tea Room in Center City, Philadelphia. Alumnae Induction
The newest members of the Mount Alumnae Association, the Class of 2009, will be inducted on Thursday, May 21st. All Alumnae, especially mothers and grandmothers of the senior class members, are invited to attend. The seniors receive a pin from the Alumnae Association and a reception is held in their honor.
